Mt Hakuba Backpackers is the newest and best located backpackers in 
Hakuba. From our hostel there are free shuttle buses to and from all of the 
major ski areas in Hakuba. We are centrally located in the Echoland region of 
Hakuba, a one minute walk from the closest convenience store and a couple 
of minutes walk will take you to numerous bars and restaurants.

The Lab is a large ski lodge and is located within 500m of the Happo-One lifts. 
The lodge includes a big communal living area, fully stocked and serviced bar, a 
restaurant serving great value meals, Japanese style onsen bathing, a large 
sundeck, and a separate TV and games room (complete with Nintendo Wii).
